The young adventurers embarked on an educational journey that included tours of the Orange base and the MNR helicopter.



Excitement filled the air as they explored the ins and outs of the airport, learning about the vital roles these aircraft play in our community.

Highlights of the day included:

• Meeting Smokey the Bear, who taught them about fire safety and prevention.
• Trying out the fire hose under the guidance of firefighters, sparking their curiosity and bravery.
• Gaining hands-on experience with the MNR helicopter, discovering its features and imagining themselves as future pilots.

This experience was made possible by the generous support of the Kenora Airport staff and firefighters, who took the time to make this day an educational and memorable one for the Kindergarten students.
